The guardian angel with her arms around the globe is the symbol of what was originally the Air Rescue and Recovery Service which later became Combat Search and Rescue and always staffed by PJs, or Pararescuemen.

The only Defense Department career field dedicated specifically to recover downed airmen, Pararescuemen have, for decades, gone into harm’s way to bring back wounded personnel.

Their motto That Others May Live is part of their creed.

Once upon a time, I was a civilian instructor at their schoolhouse and remain friends with many PJs.

This original design from Iron Shepherd Forge celebrates those men and their families.

The perfect gift for one of the smallest groups in the entire US Military with some of the strictest requirements for membership and one of the highest attrition rates in training.

Standing 9” tall with a wingspan of 22”, it is the perfect size to hang on the wall of a home or office.
