This page is a tribute to my dad, N.A. Romo, known to his friends as Tony. I think about him every day. The shepherd's crook in my touchmark and logo is a tribute to him, both as a man and a father. He grew up on a sheep ranch in eastern New Mexico during the late 1930s and early 1940s. He was the original shepherd.
I learned the important things from him. He taught me to have common sense, a generous personality, humility, and to never fear manual labor.
He was not a blacksmith, his profession later in life was as a master barber. I watched him cut hair, shave customers with a straight razor, talk to them about whatever subject came up, and most importantly, run his business with honesty and integrity.
He passed away in February of 2013 and I miss him every day.
